The Science Behind Our Chairs
A well-fitted riser recliner can help support posture, comfort and everyday independence. By matching the chair to the person, we aim to reduce pressure points, encourage a better sitting position and make sitting, reclining and standing easier.
Supports Circulation
Raising the legs can help encourage blood flow and may help reduce swelling in the lower limbs.
Encourages Better Posture
The right seat height, depth, width and back support can help keep the body better aligned, reducing slouching and improving comfort.
Helps Reduce Strain When Standing
The rise function gently assists the user from sitting to standing, helping reduce effort through the knees, wrists, arms and hips.
Supports Breathing Comfort
A supportive upright or gently reclined position can feel more comfortable than sitting slouched.
Designed Around the Individual
Everyone sits differently, so we match the chair to the person's height, posture, mobility and daily routine.
