Riser Recliner Chairs in Newark & Sherwood

From Newark, take the A616 north through Caunton towards Ollerton, then turn on to the A6075 for the last mile or so into Kirton. It's about 14 miles. From Southwell it's a similar distance, and around 25 minutes through the villages. The showroom is next door to The Fox at Kirton, with free parking outside and level access throughout. We open by appointment, so please call first and we'll make sure the kettle is on.

Prefer not to travel? We'll come to you. We visit homes in Newark, Balderton, Southwell and the surrounding villages. A demonstration takes 60 to 90 minutes. We bring a selection of chairs and fabric samples, measure the person who'll use the chair, and check the room and the way in through the front door. Family are welcome to join in. Our team doesn't work on commission, and you're never pushed into a decision.

We opened in June 2026, and Newark was one of the first places we delivered to. We've already made and delivered chairs for customers in and around both towns, with more on order, and we've been featured in the Newark Advertiser.

Because we're so close, delivery across Newark & Sherwood, including Newark and Southwell, is straightforward. When your chair is ready, we agree a morning or afternoon with you. Two of us bring it in, set it up in the room you choose, show you how everything works and take the packaging away. We ring about 30 minutes before we arrive. If you're trading in an old riser recliner for £300 off, we take it on the same visit and pass it to The Furniture Project, the Nottinghamshire furniture charity whose headquarters are at Boughton, just outside Ollerton.

If you've been assessed by an occupational therapist, bring their recommendations to your demonstration and we'll build the chair around them.
